Bend Team News
Good Day Bend Swim Family!
With the school break right around the corner is a good time to count our blessings and begin to look forward to 2026!
The theme of the year is “You can get there from here”
Last week we had Swimmers Maddie Thornton, Emma Bronson and Brecken Egeland racing at USA Swimming’s Junior Nationals in Austin. All 3 swimmers made finals and they set new team records. Making finals at Junior Nationals represents a high-level achievement and all of Bend Swim Club should feel that you can truly achieve world class swimming in our program. Special recognition to Maddie as she made finals in all 6 of her races (5 of them in the Championship Final) and she set a new Oregon State Record by over 2 SECONDS in the 200 IM!!!
