2025–2026 Financial Policy Agreement
Participation in Bend Swim Club requires payment of annual registration fees, monthly training dues, and other costs associated with competition, gear, and participation. This document outlines the financial policies families agree to when registering for the 2025–2026 swim season.
Fee Structure Summary
At registration, the following non-refundable fees will be charged:
- USA Swimming Annual Membership Fee — $92 per swimmer (Goes directly to USA Swimming and Oregon Swimming; valid through December 31, 2026)
- Bend Swim Club Annual Registration Fee — $200 per swimmer (Dolphin Swimmers: $100)
- Team T-Shirt Fee — $15 per swimmer (Applied to September registration only)
- First Month’s Dues — Based on training group assignment for September 2025
Monthly dues will be billed automatically on the 1st of each month from October 2025 through August 2026.

Payment and Billing Policies
- All accounts must have an active auto-payment method (credit card or ACH) on file.
- Monthly invoices are generated on the 1st of each month and include dues, meet entry fees, and any additional charges.
- A $15 late fee will be applied to all unpaid invoices on the 15th of each month.
- Meet entry fees are non-refundable once submitted to a meet host.
Additional Charges
In addition to standard registration fees and monthly dues, families should be aware of the following additional charges that may apply:
- Group-specific program fees: Certain training groups may include additional billed items such as dryland or technology fees.
- Required gear: Swimmers must purchase their own practice gear (e.g., fins, snorkel, paddles) and appropriate competition swimwear. Estimated gear costs range from $50–$200 depending on group placement.
- Team Meet Fees: BSC charges a team-specific meet fee per competition to help cover travel expenses and coaching hours. These fees are in addition to standard host club entry fees and surcharges:
- $10 — Local one-session meets (Bend, Redmond, Madras)
- $20 — BSC invitational-style meets
- $50 — Out-of-town travel meets
Special Billing Groups
Returning college and alumni swimmers may register with the team for seasonal training and will be charged monthly dues based on training group assignment. If applicable, USA Swimming registration fees will also be billed.
Withdrawal and Refunds
If a swimmer withdraws from the program before the end of the season, families remain financially responsible for dues, meet fees, and surcharges owed through the end of the month in which the swimmer participated. Partial months are not prorated.
Swimmers in the Senior Elite, Gold, and Silver training groups are committing to a full 12-month season. Families in these groups are financially responsible for all monthly dues from September 2025 through August 2026, even if the swimmer withdraws early.
Notice of withdrawal must be provided in writing (email is acceptable) at least one week prior to the end of the month. If notice is received after that point, dues for the following month will still be charged.
Financial Assistance
Families experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to apply for financial assistance. More information can be found on the team website or by contacting the Team Administrator.
Agreement
By registering for the 2025–2026 swim season, I acknowledge and accept responsibility for all dues, fees, and policies outlined in this Financial Policy Agreement. I understand that failure to meet these financial obligations may result in late fees, suspension from team participation, or other actions deemed appropriate by the club.
